Liz holds an MEd in School Counselling and an RCC designation, and her work is grounded in a holistic, creative, and relational approach to well‑being. She integrates elements of art, yoga‑based mind–body practices, connection with nature, and evidence‑informed wellness education to support people in cultivating emotional balance, resilience, and self‑awareness. With over two decades of experience as an art teacher and Yoga & Wellness educator, Liz brings a gentle blend of structure, curiosity, and compassion to the individuals, groups, and teams she works with.
Rooted in the unceded Syilx territory of the Okanagan peoples, Liz’s practice is shaped by a deep appreciation for the land—its beauty, its teachings, and the sense of grounding and connection it offers. She supports individuals through one‑to‑one counselling and also designs and facilitates collaboratively built, theme‑specific mental health and wellness programs for groups and teams, weaving together creativity, embodiment, and practical skill‑building. Her greatest inspiration and teacher continues to be her teenage son.
